BDJLD Winter Ball

We are delighted, at last, to be able to bring you full details of our Winter Ball!

This has been kindly supported by our friends and colleagues at Bournemouth and District Law Society. We are also delighted to be sponsored by 3PB Barristers for this event.

This will be held at the Hermitage Hotel, Exeter Road, Bournemouth BH2 5AH on 3 December 2021.

Guests will be welcome at this ticketed event from 7pmonwards for this event, which will include a 3 course meal, wine and a live band.

The dress code is black tie.

If you would like to attend, please complete and return the  RSVP form which has been sent out by email from contact@bdjld.co.uk no later than 19 November 2021, and make payment using our account details on this webpage (www.bdjld.co.uk/events).  If you need a copy of the RSVP form, please contact us using the same email address.

We cannot guarantee your place if you reply after that date, and places will be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis. If you would like to book as a group or as a table, you can use the form to indicate your preferences.

Our menu choices are:

Starter

• i. Confit duck leg terrine, plum puree, pickled cucumber, toasted bread
• ii. Pressed pork shoulder, apply & blackberry chutney, toasted bread
• iii.  Vegan cheese parcel, shaved celery salad, candied walnuts and honey dressing (VE)

Main

• i. Braised feather blade of beef, horseradish mash, carrot puree, green beans, roast carrot
• ii. Pan fried salmon, olive crushed potato, tender stem broccoli and tomato salsa
• iii. Courgette and Lemon risotto with rocket (VE)

Dessert

• i. Baileys cheesecake, chocolate sauce and raspberry compote
• ii. Apple and cinnamon crumble with vanilla ice cream
• iii. Vegan vanilla ice cream with fresh fruit (VE)

Finally, we will be holding a raffle in aid of our charitable partners for 2021, Hope For Food. Please remember to bring some cash with you to the event as we will have raffle tickets available for multiple prizesprovided by local businesses.
